Pacific College’s 9th and 10th-grade students recently had an exciting field trip to the Bac Lieu Wind Farm. This activity aimed to provide career orientation, raise environmental awareness, and foster pride in their hometown’s heritage.
Throughout the trip, students not only learned about the process of generating electricity from wind energy but also visited well-known sites in Bac Lieu, such as Guan Yin Buddha Shrine and the Mansion of the Bac Lieu Dandy. This hands-on experience provided them with valuable insights for future career decisions.
The trip also allowed teachers to integrate career education into real-life experiences, helping assess students' abilities and qualities. All students actively participated, followed the instructions of their teachers and group leaders, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.
The field trip to the Bac Lieu Wind Farm left a lasting impression and created wonderful memories for Pacific College students. It was truly a valuable experience, deepening their understanding and appreciation of their homeland and country.
