On the afternoon of April 3, the Standing Committee of Can Tho City Youth Union, Can Tho City Young Entrepreneurs Association and FUNDGO Startup and Innovation Fund exchanged information about organizing the 2024 Competition for Searching Startup Ideas/Projects.
According to Mr. Tran Viet Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Youth Union, the competition aims to encourage and foster the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity in startup, contributing to the economic development of the youth in particular.

At the same time, to foster the youth in the start-up process, a supportive environment will be established to assist them. Eligible individuals include Vietnamese citizens between the ages of 16 and 35 with entrepreneurial ideas and plans. These individuals must reside and work in Can Tho City or the Mekong Delta region.

Business projects are about to be implemented or are being implemented in all fields. Individuals/groups (each group maximum 5 members) have unlimited number of projects/ideas when registering to participate. Starups established within 1 year.
The start-up ideas and projects submitted to the competition aim to address community and societal issues, contributing to socio-economic development.

Exchanging information at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thong, Vice Chairman of Can Tho Young Entrepreneurs Association, highly appreciated the significance of the competition for students and the youth who is starting their own business. The competition will create a favorable environment to promote and support the youth in the start-up process.
Vice Chairman of Can Tho City Young Entrepreneurs Association suggested that it is necessary to promote the dissemination of information about the competition to a large number of union members, association members, and youth through the press and social media platforms using visual images. Startup projects and ideas participating in the competition should be implemented through videos presenting the start-up ideas to facilitate the connection of ideas with start-up investors.
In addition, the information about this competition is spread to young people who want to develop ideas and business projects of young people and students, thereby contributing to the formation of young entrepreneurs from young people and students.

The competition will be officially announced to launch in April 2024 and is expected to last until October 2024.
