On 21st May, Pacific College collaborated with the Can Tho City Student Assistance Center to officially launch the "Traditional Musical Instrument Introduction and Performance Program for Youth" and inaugurate the "Zero-Cost Folk Music Class.
The program aims to introduce and showcase traditional musical instruments to students who are passionate about traditional music. It provides a platform for students to interact, learn, and cultivate the cultural values of folk music and traditional instruments. Additionally, it helps maintain connections and promote Vietnamese culture to international friends through traditional musical instruments.
At the launch ceremony, Pacific College signed a collaboration agreement with the Can Tho City Student Assistance Center to organize the "Zero-Cost Folk Music Class." The class will commence on 10th June 2024 and will take place every Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Pacific College.
The activities will be held regularly to support all students with a passion for and interest in music and traditional musical instruments.
